- I will chalk this up to immaturity. Swift needs to realize that in this day and age, when people are struggling to make ends meet, making a statement like this can damage or even ruin a career. She comes across like a spoiled little girl, and that can be detrimental. My daughters lover her music.

- 99% of parents should just leave their kids alone and let them develop at their own pace. It's bad enough that we force 3 year old's into pre-school when they aren't mature enough for that kind of social interaction. Let kids be kids and go with your gut.

- Sodas in general are bad for you. I recently had a bone density test done, and the nurse was shocked. For a woman my age (early 50's), she was surprised at how dense my bones were - she called them "man bones". She asked me if I drank soda and I said no.

- Jesse Jackson Jr. has no business running for re-election. He is under investigation, and has supposedly been sideswiped all of a sudden with bipolar disorder. I have lots of friends who are bipolar, and once they got their meds straight, they were just fine.

Both; it's a two-way street.
- I have been a working mom and a stay at home mom. I had to work full-time when my 2 oldest were 3 and 1. We lived in San Diego, which is VERY expensive, and there was no way we could live on 1 income. My youngest daughter learned to walk at day care, and that broke my heart.
